Well, that’s it guys. HBO’s glorious, eight-season run of Game of Thrones has come to an end; and just like the men of the Night’s Watch, we’re not quite sure what to do with ourselves now – or how we’re going to fill this GoT void in our lives.
But before we bid a final farewell to our favourite characters of Westeros and sail back to normal life *sobs*, HBO will be airing a two-hour long documentary titled Game of Thrones: The Last Watch and we’re not crying, you are.
Directed by British filmmaker, Jeanie Finlay, the feature chronicles the making of the eighth season and gives fans an in-depth look at the show’s behind-the-scenes, and all the hard work that goes into creating the Westeros realm before the cameras start rolling.
From cast members playing around with green-screens to White Walkers getting prosthetic makeovers and tearful table readings, The Last Watch will hit screens on HBO at 9pm 26 May, exactly one week after the show’s finale and we’re already tearing up just thinking about it. Pass the tissues.
