Bacon Double Cheeseburger: If those three words fill you with utter joy, then listen up, because there’s a way you can get that cheesy, meaty goodness at Burger King for less than £2.
Yep, you read that right. A regular Bacon Double Cheeseburger costs £4.89, but we’ve found an easy ordering hack that means you can get the exact same thing for just £1.99 – that’s £2.90 less and better than half price.
Simply order a Double Cheeseburger off the King Saver Menu (£1.49) and ask the server to add bacon (40-50p branch dependent) and voilà – you have your very own make-shift Bacon Double Cheeseburger for less than £2, and it’s literally the exact same as the regular version.
The only thing to note is the King Saver Menu burger will include gherkins and mustard (which the regular Bacon Double Cheeseburger doesn’t come with), but you can ask for these to be removed if you don’t want them.
If you need us at lunchtime for the foreseeable future, we’ll be at Burger King.
We have a sneaky feeling this hack is going to be great for our bank balance but terrible for our waistlines…
