Well, maybe. According to rumours, the retail giant is planning on trialling a click and collect service which would allow customers to reserve the buys they want online before picking them up in-store. The financial management company Davy reported that the possibility of click and collect is “on the horizon”. Currently, you can see the items for sale on Primark’s website but you can’t actually buy them, so a click and collect service would be a huge game-changer for them, and for us tbh.
The exciting news comes weeks after Primark opened it’s biggest store in the world in Birmingham – five floors of bargain buys, beauty, technology, restaurants, a beauty salon and even a Disney cafe. Trust us, it’s a must for Primark fans.
But sadly, just as soon as it looked like we might finally be able to shop Primark online, the retailer shut down the rumours with a spokesperson saying “there are no plans in the near future to trial click and collect” *weeps*. Well, looks like we’ll have to make do with visiting the store in person for now. Road trip to Birmingham anyone?
