The last few years have seen beauty advent calendars become the must-have Christmas item, but this year several beauty brands have extended the party by bringing out beauty Easter eggs. We knew we were being mugged off with a measly Lindt chocolate bunny all these years.
Now we’re not telling you to sacrifice your chocolate egg, because we certainly won’t be doing that, but we’re planning on treating ourselves to a beauty egg as well. We’ve picked out nine of our favourite beauty Easter eggs for 2019 from the likes of Glossybox, Lookfantastic, Revolution and more. We hope the Easter bunny is reading this…
Lookfantastic The Beauty Egg Collection, £65
How luxe does this box of eggs look? It’s hardly surprising when you consider the contents is worth almost £250. Inside you’ll find individually wrapped goodies from the likes of Elemis, bareMinerals, Foreo, Laura Geller and more.
Glossybox Easter Egg, £30
This bad boy has made its way straight to the top of our wishlists. The limited edition egg is worth over £80 and contains some seriously great products inside from the likes of St. Tropez, Illamasqua, Living Proof, Pixi, Benefit and more.
I Heart Revolution Easter Eggs, £5
Budget beauty favourite, Revolution, have outdone themselves with these adorable make-up eggs. With four shades to choose from, these little eggs come with five eyeshadows and two glowy highlighters inside, and at just £5 each we’ll take every shade.
Lush Golden Egg, £29.95
Lush has produced several amazing Easter egg-shaped bath bombs this year, but the Golden Egg has to be the standout from their Easter range. Inside you’ll find treats including a Cream Egg ‘bubbleroon’ and three bath bombs – one full of glitter, and two which will fill your bathroom with relaxing citrus scents.
Essie Nail Colour Easter Egg, £8.99
We love Essie nail polishes so we’d be very happy to see this instead of as well as a chocolate egg. Choose from three of their most iconic colours – Eternal Optimist, Spin the Bottle and Ballet Slippers – all inside this adorable egg.
TonyMoly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm, £20
Ok, we know this is available all year-round, but we’re still including it just for the novelty egg shape. The primer comes from cult K-beauty brand, TonyMoly, and contains actual egg white which claims to tighten skin. It also leaves skin with an airbrushed finish and is great for disguising large pores, oily T-zones and uneven texture.
L’Oreal Paris Beauty Egg, £6
The perfect little Easter pick-me-up contains some of L’Oreal’s most-loved skincare products. You get L’Oreal Paris Smooth Sugars Clear Face & Lip Scrub, LPure Clay Detox Mask Mini and Hydra Genius Liquid Moisturiser Mini. Well, we’ll need something to detox our skin after all of that chocolate.
Olay Total Effects Beauty Egg, £3
We’d buy this for the incredible sparkly egg packaging alone tbh. Inside you’ll find Olay’s iconic Total Effects moisturiser which boasts seven( yes, seven) radiance-boosting and anti-ageing properties all in one.
