What’s good enough for Kim Kardashian is good enough for us, right? The kween of luxe beauty detailed her skincare routine in a recent post on her website – the total cost of which works out at about £1,400, yikes! – and among the seriously expensive products there was one budget-friendly anti-ageing serum that costs just £8.
Kim K named The Ordinary’s Retinoid 2% Emulsion as one of her favourite products to help slow down the ageing process, as it targets everything from fine lines and wrinkles to pigmentation. It contains a high concentration of two next-generation retinoids (a form of vitamin A which boosts cell and collagen production, and reduces the appearance of pigmentation and plumps skin) which are proven to be more effective than standard retinol formulations.
If you haven’t heard of The Ordinary they’re the brains behind some seriously cult skincare products; their foundation had a 25,000 waiting list last year and their Niacinamide 10% serum is one of ASOS’s top two best-selling products. All of their products contain pure, potent and high quality ingredients, and are super affordable with most coming in around £5-10 – a small price to pay to look as good as Kim K.
