As if the news of Fenty Beauty launching in Boots wasn’t exciting enough, we’ve just found out that Rihanna might be launching a Fenty skincare line too; hold up, we need to sit down. We’ve conducted some investigations – just call us Sherlock Holmes – and it seems like this could actually become a reality. We feel truly blessed.

Since its launch in September 2017, Fenty Beauty has well and truly taken the beauty industry by storm with it’s incredible, diverse and inventive product range, so it seems only fitting that RiRi would expand her beauty empire into skincare, especially given she’s just launched a lip balm. Back in September 2017, rumours of a skincare line were already floating around after a fan tweeted about finding a “House of Fenty” trademark registered for “cosmetics… namely, creams, lotions, gels, toners and cleansers”; in hindsight that was probably in preparation for Fenty’s infamous Body Lava.

But rumours started again in March 2019 after a new trademark was filed under a new label, “Fenty Skin” on 25 March 2019. This time, the trademark was specifically listed for “medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care and personal care products (excluding colour cosmetics, perfume and other fragrance-only products), and related accessories such as kits, tools and applicators”, leading fans to believe Rihanna is working on a new line of skincare.

Apart from the registered trademark, there aren’t any other details about the potential skincare line yet, but if the existing Fenty Beauty line is anything to go by we can imagine it will be diverse and shelfie-friendly. We’re prepping our bank accounts already.
