If you weren’t blessed with Cara Delevigne-level brows, and, like us, are on a constant hunt for the perfect brow product, then this is for you. We found our brow OTP in the form of Glossier Boy Brow years ago, but at £14 a pop we were always desperate to find a more budget-friendly alternative. Luckily, we’ve found one and it only costs £2.50, so our brows and our bank account can look on fleek.
The award-winning Boy Brow has rightfully earned its cult-status as one of Glossier’s best-selling and most-hyped products, thanks to its teeny tiny wand which thickens, fills in and grooms every single hair giving the illusion of seriously killer brows.
The dupe was spotted by Beauty Markdown and comes from under-the-radar budget brand, Essence, which has recently become available at Wilko – the most unlikely place to shop for beauty – but has been raved about by bloggers in Ireland and Canada. Just like Boy Brow, the Make Me Brow gel has a tiny precise wand to coat every hair and keep brows in place all day; it also contains tiny fibres to fill any gaps. The only downside is the shade selection; Essence only comes in two shades – blonde and brown – whereas Glossier has four shades – clear, blonde, brown and black – but for £11.50 less than the original, we’ll take the shade hit. Cara Delevigne eyebrows are just £2.50 away…
